Overview

All South Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Supervisor for their Houma location. The position requires a Louisiana licensed Professional Engineer with at least 10 years of design engineering experience and project management duties. The role involves leading projects in civil engineering, developing construction documents, and managing a team of engineers in a collaborative environment focused on sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies
  • Produce preliminary designs and quantity take-offs
  • Check designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in developing and assembling designs and project specifications
  • Manage projects and coordinate with the engineering team and clients
  • Work independently while leading and organizing design staff
  • Oversee staff engineers in construction administration tasks

Required skills

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Louisiana registered Civil Professional Engineer
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant civil engineering experience
  • Experience with civil engineering software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor other engineers
