Overview

Cyntergy is seeking a Civil Designer to join its Civil Engineering Team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves leading design processes and collaborating on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, including federal, local municipal, retail, commercial, healthcare, and industrial clients. The position offers the chance to work on significant multi-million-dollar projects while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for site plans, grading, drainage layouts, and utility designs.
  • Conduct site analysis with Civil Engineers using topographical surveys and geotechnical data.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to develop project specifications and budgets.
  • Perform quality checks and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Support construction phases by responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
  • Stay updated on AutoCAD Civil 3D software trends and civil design practices.

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a civil designer focused on civil site development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Strong understanding of site development principles, grading, drainage, paving, and utility design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
