Job Description

Overview

As a Citizens Teller, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and helping clients with their financial needs. You will engage with customers in the branch, assist them in using technology for transactions, and provide personalized financial advice to help them achieve their goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them with their banking needs in the branch.
  • Demonstrate the use of mobile applications and ATMs for simple transactions.
  • Provide personalized financial advice and refer customers to Bankers for additional assistance.
  • Educate customers about Citizens products and address any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a customer-centric environment.

Required skills

  • High School degree or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Comfortable with digital technology
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
