Best Cincinnati Chimney is looking for a motivated Chimney Inspector/Installer to perform chimney and fireplace inspections, educate homeowners, and identify safety concerns. The role involves working alongside a lead installer and providing solutions based on industry standards while emphasizing customer service and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform Level 1 and Level 2 chimney inspections
  • Conduct fireplace and venting system evaluations
  • Document defects, safety concerns, and code-related issues
  • Take clear inspection photos and videos
  • Complete digital inspection reports using company software
  • Explain inspection findings clearly to homeowners
  • Arrive on time and professionally dressed
  • Maintain accurate records and meticulous job documentation

Required skills

  • Chimney inspection experience preferred
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer and tablet proficiency for digital reporting
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Comfort with heights and climbing ladders
  • Prior experience in construction, roofing, or masonry is a plus
  • Familiarity with NFPA 211 standards preferred
