Jobot is seeking a Senior Chiller Technician to join their team in Santa Ana, California. This role involves the maintenance, repair, and operation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems in commercial settings, providing an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to grow in their career.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical issues with chillers and related equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations per EPA guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with chiller systems.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with chiller systems in commercial settings.
  • Valid EPA certification.
  • Strong mechanical skills for diagnosing and repairing complex chiller systems.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and preventative measures.
