This role involves implementing curriculum, supervising activities, and maintaining program standards while building strong relationships with community members.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the mission of the YMCA and strengthen community relationships
  • Create a safe and positive environment for children
  • Implement curriculum within established guidelines
  • Supervise children, classroom, and activities
  • Conduct systematic observations and evaluations of each child
  • Maintain program site and equipment
  • Keep required program records
  • Attend family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and training
