Overview

The Chief Physicist at Baptist Memorial Health is responsible for overseeing the physics and dosimetry area within the department. This role involves developing standardization techniques for imaging and therapy equipment, managing treatment planning for special cases, and ensuring quality assurance through testing and compliance for various medical equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for general oversight of physics/dosimetry
  • Coordinate treatment planning processes and procedures
