Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Larson Financial Group is a strategic leader responsible for financial operations, capital strategy, and performance management across various business entities. This role supports the CEO and Executive Leadership Team by driving profitability, optimizing capital allocation, and building scalable financial infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and advice to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple entities
  • Oversee financial operations and ensure proper accounting practices
  • Manage capital allocation, cash flow, and liquidity strategies
  • Ensure timely and accurate investor reporting and fund financials
  • Oversee property-level financials and support real estate operations
  • Establish strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead and mentor the finance and IT teams to foster a high-performing organization

Required skills

  • 12-18+ years in finance leadership roles
  • Experience in multi-entity organizations with a complexity of $75M+
  • Strong exposure to capital markets, fund management, real estate finance, and advisory services
  • Proven leadership in finance and technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA preferred, MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytics
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
