Our client is a well-respected, privately-held, fast-paced, $100MM+, multi-site, construction/related company that is aggressively growing (organically.)Summary: The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for leading a mid-sized team of experienced professionals and managing all aspects of the accounting/finance operations for the company, to include month-end close, consolidations, financial reporting, financial (and operational) analysis (including KPIs/dashboards), cash/treasury, Human Resources and I/T. The Chief Financial Officer will also be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team and be heavily involved in strategy and the business as a whole. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Management/development of accounting/finance teamResponsible for month-end close, consolidations, financial reporting and financial/operational analysis (inclusive of refining/automating daily/monthly KPIs)Cash flow/management & treasuryManaging Human Resources and I/TAnalytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspectivePrepare quarterly tax projections and oversee annual tax return preparation with outside CPA firm including preparation of work papers supporting the annual tax returnGuide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing accounting policies and proceduresResponsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations Education: Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in accounting or business administration with emphasis in accounting.C.P.A. is preferred but not required Experience: 10+ years experience in the accounting and finance sectorConstruction/related industry experienceBig Four or local/regional accounting firm audit experience is preferred but not required Salary $175K -$210K+, 25%+ real cash bonus potential, potential for future LTi, attractive benefit package and fast-paced/entrepreneurial culture/work environment.
