The CAO will be responsible for providing strategic and community-focused leadership, implementing the Council's vision and priorities, and ensuring the effective delivery of municipal programs and services. This role involves overseeing the Town's administrative operations, leading the Management Team, and establishing systems for performance monitoring, service quality, and financial and administrative controls. The successful candidate will also serve as the principal advisor to the Council, support effective governance, and lead all human resources functions, including staffing, labor relations, and organizational culture. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should have a post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, public administration, or a related field, and completion of the Municipal Administration Program (MAP) through AMCTO. A minimum of 5 years' of senior management experience within a municipal government environment is required, with additional professional designations and certifications considered assets.
