Job Description

Overview

As a Production team member at Pilgrim's, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of poultry products. This hands-on position involves working on the processing line, handling tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products while adhering to strict food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Process poultry products using tools and equipment according to USDA and company standards
  • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and food safety guidelines
  • Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in various areas of production

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Poultry or food industry experience a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • Team player
