Overview

As a Chicken Plant Associate at Pilgrim's, you will join a dedicated production team ensuring the safety and quality of poultry products. This hands-on role involves various tasks on the processing line, including cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products, while adhering to strict food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
  • Monitor equipment operation and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
  • Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.

  • Base hourly salary rate of $17.96 with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift if applicable
  • Perfect attendance incentive of $1.00 extra per hour for perfect attendance if applicable
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday with some weekend work required
