Description: Textum OPCO, LLC is hiring a Chemist for its Dayton, OH Composite Manufacturing operation. The Chemist will play a pivotal role in our materials development team, working on projects involving the formulation, characterization, and application of new and existing materials. This is an early career role, and the Chemist will work directly with more senior team members who will guide his/her activities.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, specifically in polymer or materials science. They should be capable of conducting experiments, analyzing results, and collaborating with engineers and other scientists in a fast-paced environment. The Chemist will be involved in all stages of product development, from ideation through prototyping to production, but the majority of the job will be in production producing polymer resins in batch processing for internal use.This is a full-time, direct hire position with 1st shift hours.
