Overview

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and testing industry, is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Technician Location: Garden Grove, CA Pay Range: $18-$22hr Shift: 6am- 2:30pm What's the Job? Create monthly lab orders for physical testing and prepare metal specimens for testing. Track both physical and analytical tests to ensure timely completion within required time frames. Perform a variety of tests including corrosion testing, paint adhesion, impact tests, and elemental analysis. Compile detailed test reports outlining procedures and results of internal tests. Maintain accurate records, review logs for correctness, and monitor process tank temperatures to ensure compliance with specifications. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical processing laboratories. Ability to operate laboratory equipment such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometers and atomic absorption analyzers. Knowledge of safety procedures and proper handling of laboratory glassware and chemicals. Strong attention to detail, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
