Pomeroy Living is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join their culinary team at a premier senior living community. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the culinary team
  • Develop and implement creative menus to meet dietary needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage food inventory and control costs
  • Interact with residents to ensure meal satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments

Required skills

  • Graduate of a reputable culinary school
  • ServSafe Food Service Manager certification
  • ServSafe Allergen certification
  • Minimum of two years of culinary experience
  • Strong knowledge of food production techniques
  • Flexible schedule with evening and weekend availability
