Overview

Mark VII Transport is seeking a motivated Class 3 chauffeur-delivery driver with experience to operate 20, 26, or 28-foot cube trucks for the delivery of various materials including pallets and packages. The role involves driving, loading and unloading, and ensuring the accurate tracking of deliveries primarily within the Greater Montreal area.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive a 20, 26, or 28-foot truck
  • Perform pre-departure checks
  • Load and unload the truck
  • Conduct daily delivery routes in accordance with customer requests
  • Ensure accuracy and record all deliveries in the logistics system
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Lift and handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Complete necessary criminal background checks

Required skills

  • 2 years of driving experience as a chauffeur/delivery driver
  • Basic computer skills (TMS system proficiency)
  • Knowledge of the Greater Montreal area
  • Ability to drive in both urban and highway settings
  • Teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with operating an electric pallet truck
