Overview

Olymel is seeking a Project Manager - Engineering to join their dynamic team, focused on innovation, quality, and sustainable development. This role involves coordinating and delivering projects from conception to execution while collaborating with internal clients and managing project resources.

Key responsibilities

  • Determine project scope, requirements, and specifications with the client and designer
  • Develop project charter based on client needs, defining quality, costs, and timelines
  • Assemble and lead a project team using internal and/or external resources
  • Collaborate with a project director for large-scale projects
  • Supervise project technicians
  • Support design and coordinate project implementation with internal clients and subcontractors
  • Ensure proper project coordination following Olymel's project management process
  • Collect project data in the project tracking software (Wrike)
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and workshops
  • Manage tenders, submissions, and contracts
  • Oversee change management and communications
  • Prepare and present monthly project review reports to management
  • Execute project closure steps
  • Participate in developing tools and standards for the sector

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • PMP certification
  • ASP card
  • Project management software knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills, communication, leadership, flexibility, and ability to influence
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously
  • Willingness to travel frequently with variable hours
