Overview

As a Chaplain Corps Officer in the US Navy, you will provide spiritual care, counseling, and ethical leadership to service members and their families, contributing to their morale and resilience across various environments. This role requires balancing professional ministry with the demands of military life, including potential deployments.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver religious ministry consistent with your faith tradition
  • Facilitate for the religious needs of personnel from other faith groups
  • Advise commanders on religious needs, morale, ethics, and command climate
  • Provide confidential counseling and crisis response
  • Serve as staff or supervisory chaplain as experience is gained
  • Support ceremonies, memorials, humanitarian missions, and operational deployments
