Overview

Prestige Accounting & Consulting is seeking a data-driven Certified Public Accountant to enhance the financial integrity of the firm. This role involves overseeing financial planning, maintaining accurate financial records, and advising clients on budgeting and tax strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and ensure the compliance of financial statements and transactions with applicable laws and regulations
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures for smooth business operations
  • Provide advisory services on organizational budgets and strategic planning
  • Lead the preparation and review of tax plans and strategies for clients
  • Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis to improve client profitability and cash flow
  • Manage complex trust account reconciliations in compliance with regulations
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for clients
  • Identify new service opportunities and develop client-focused solutions with leadership
  • Mentor junior accountants and lead training sessions
  • Represent the firm at client consultations and industry events

Required skills

  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • CPA certification from AICPA
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field; Master's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or financial services
  • 6+ years of accounting experience with expertise in tax preparation and legal trust accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Drake, Lacerte)
  • Proven leadership and client management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
