The City of Big Spring Police Department is hiring Entry-Level Police Officers, including Certified Officers and Police Cadets. This role involves working shifts to ensure public safety and community policing in Big Spring, Texas.

Key responsibilities

  • Work in different shifts, requiring a 40-hour work week
  • Conduct patrol operations and enforce law regulations
  • Engage in community policing and emergency response
  • Participate in physical ability tests and written examinations
  • Complete training requirements at the police academy for non-certified cadets

  • Valid driver's license issued by the State of Texas
