Overview

The Certified Nurse Assistant, Nurse Assistant, or Trainee - Float position at L.E. Cox Medical Centers involves providing basic patient care under supervision in a clinical learning environment. This role includes performing various duties such as taking vitals, bathing, and dressing patients while also obtaining and reporting information on patient conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff
  • Take vitals, bathe, dress, and move patients
  • Change linens and perform other duties as assigned
  • Obtain and report information on patient conditions
  • Participate in training and competency assessment at the end of the program
