Job Description

Overview

The Certified Nurse Assistant, Nurse Assistant, or NA Trainee will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff on the 5W Cardiac Telemetry unit. Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with daily activities, and reporting any changes in patient conditions while being supervised in a clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient care under nursing staff direction
  • Take vital signs and assist patients with bathing and dressing
  • Move patients and change linens as assigned
  • Obtain and report information on patient conditions to nursing staff
  • Participate in a nurse assistant training program
