Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide executive leadership and oversee the day-to-day management and operations of a behavioral health hospital. The CEO will have primary responsibility for developing, implementing, and achieving the hospital's strategic business plan, while ensuring excellence across clinical quality, staff development, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide overall executive leadership and operational oversight of the hospital Develop and execute the hospital's strategic business plan Partner with the governing body on annual operating and capital budgets Drive financial performance and operational efficiency Ensure high standards of quality of care and patient safety Maintain hospital licensure, accreditation, and regulatory compliance Lead continuous performance improvement initiatives Develop, recruit, and retain clinical and administrative talent Collaborate with the Medical Director and medical staff on strategic and operational priorities Build relationships with community partners and healthcare stakeholders Support marketing, business development, and community engagement initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree (BA) required Previous CEO or senior hospital leadership experience Strong behavioral health hospital leadership experience Experience with Joint Commission (JCAHO) surveys and accreditation Strong financial and operational management experience Proven success in talent recruitment and retention Experience with marketing and community engagement Demonstrated quality and performance improvement experience in a behavioral health hospital Strong understanding of behavioral health hospital operations, compliance, and clinical services Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a proven healthcare executive who has successfully led a behavioral health hospital, understands both clinical and business operations, and can balance quality patient care with financial and organizational performance.
