Overview

AmeriGas is seeking a CDL Service Technician who will be responsible for installing and repairing propane tanks and providing excellent customer service. This role offers a chance to work locally and be home every day while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle
  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks
  • Install new propane tanks and systems
  • Deliver bulk or canister propane as needed
  • Adhere to federal and state codes and AmeriGas policies
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment consistently

Required skills

  • Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical and drug test
