Overview

Elite Fuels Transportation Inc. is seeking a Local Fuel Transportation Truck Driver in Phoenix, AZ. This role is focused on safe fuel delivery, accurate documentation, and professional customer service for experienced CDL-A tanker drivers. Candidates must attend mandatory safety training upon hiring, and the position requires a commitment to safety and compliance throughout the delivery process.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tanker truck to deliver fuel to retail stations and commercial accounts
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards
  • Load and unload petroleum products following safety and environmental regulations
  • Complete and submit all required documentation (BOLs, inspection reports, delivery logs)
  • Maintain consistent communication with dispatch using mobile applications
  • Ensure timely and efficient route completion while prioritizing safety
  • Represent the company professionally at customer locations

Required skills

  • Valid CDL Class A license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • Minimum 3 years CDL A driving experience
  • At least 6 months recent fuel/tanker delivery experience
  • Clean driving record without major violations
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Comfortable using mobile apps for ELD systems and dispatch communication
