Overview

Capital Waste Services LLC is looking for a full-time CDL Driver to join their waste collection team in Gresham, South Carolina. The company emphasizes superior customer service, reliability, and safety in waste management, investing in state-of-the-art systems and their employees.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate various types of trucks to collect and transport waste materials
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials while following safety regulations
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor mechanical maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate effectively with team members
  • Provide excellent customer service during public interactions

Required skills

  • Valid CDL A or B
  • At least 2 years of driving experience in the garbage truck industry
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Experience with Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, Automated Side-Load trucks
  • High school diploma or GED (desired)
  • Satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
