Overview

Capital Waste Services LLC is seeking CDL Drivers for waste collection services in Columbia, South Carolina. The company emphasizes superior customer service and employee investment, providing full-time hours and benefits for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate various types of trucks including Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, or Automated Side-Load (ASL) for waste collection.
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials while following safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor mechanical maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with the public.

Required skills

  • Valid CDL A or B
  • At least 2 years of driving experience in the garbage truck industry
  • Safe driving record compliant with D.O.T. requirements
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Experience with Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, Automated Side-Load (ASL)
  • High school diploma or GED (desired)
  • Satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
