Overview

The CDL Driver & Crane Operator at SRS Building Products is responsible for the safe and efficient transport and delivery of building materials within a 200-mile radius. This role involves operating trucks, cranes, and forklifts, adhering to DOT regulations, and ensuring high standards of customer service during job site deliveries.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely deliver building materials following DOT regulations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
  • Operate cranes, forklifts, and coordinate with rooftop loaders
  • Verify inventory and document deliveries with photos
  • Provide excellent on-site customer service
  • Assess job sites for safety risks
  • Support warehouse and yard maintenance

Required skills

  • Valid CDL driver's license with air brakes endorsement
  • Proficiency in routine maintenance and safety checks
  • Experience in crane operation and material handling
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards
  • Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work outdoors
  • Experience operating forklifts; certification preferred
  • Ability to conduct job site inspections and report conditions
