Overview

Lane Enterprises Inc is seeking a CDL Driver to join their team in Pulaski, Pennsylvania. The role involves safely operating vehicles to transport products while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from Lane facilities and customers.
  • Manage daily driver’s electronic log, plan routes, and meet delivery schedules.
  • Comply with Department of Transportation rules and company policies.
  • Perform required pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain truck, trailer, and securement devices in an orderly fashion.
  • Maintain vehicle logbook and retain fuel/toll receipts.
  • Secure loads to DOT requirements and ensure parts are accounted for.
  • Report defects, accidents, or violations to the supervisor.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

Required skills

  • Proven work experience as a Commercial Truck Driver with 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
  • Current CDL Driver's License and DOT driver's physical card.
  • Ability to drive trucks with manual transmissions and operate a tri-axle truck.
  • Experience driving a flatbed truck.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Comfortable using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
