Job Description

Overview

HT HACKNEY is seeking professional CDL Class A drivers for regional delivery operations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. This role is open to new graduates, and it offers a comprehensive benefits package along with weekly pay and incentive bonuses.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations
  • Deliver products to multiple centers safely and on schedule
  • Verify cargo accuracy and monitor required trailer
  • Fuel vehicles and maintain electronic or manual logs
  • Utilize GPS systems and apply tire chains as necessary
  • Perform coupling procedures and manage freight

Required skills

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • 1 year of OTR experience or 6 months in beverage/foodservice delivery preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
