Greyhound Lines, Inc. is seeking CDL Bus Drivers in Syracuse, NY, who will become an integral part of the company's legacy by safely transporting passengers across the nation. This role involves not only operating the bus but also ensuring a satisfactory customer experience while adhering to safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner
  • Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort by providing assistance
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents
  • Assist passengers with boarding and securing belongings
  • Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents
  • Keep records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other documentation
  • Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures

Required skills

  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Passenger 16+ endorsement
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and route navigation
