Greyhound Lines, Inc. is seeking CDL Bus Drivers in New York, NY, who will operate buses, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while following traffic laws and designated routes. This role offers the opportunity to travel and meet new people as part of the company's legacy of transportation service.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Follow designated routes and schedules, making necessary adjustments
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort by providing assistance as needed
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to confirm bus condition
  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to authorities
  • Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing personal belongings
  • Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents according to protocols
  • Maintain records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other documentation
  • Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures

Required skills

  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction
  • DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to work varied schedule based on regional driver needs
