Greyhound Lines, Inc. is seeking CDL Bus Drivers in Hartford, CT, who will play a vital role in the transportation needs of communities across the nation. This position offers a chance to meet new people while ensuring safety and comfort for passengers during their travels.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a bus safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws
  • Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort, providing assistance when needed
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents promptly
  • Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing belongings
  • Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents appropriately
  • Keep records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other documentation
  • Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures

Required skills

  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Passenger 16+ endorsement with no air brake restriction
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • 22 years of age or older
  • Varied schedule flexibility based on regional needs
