Greyhound Lines, Inc. is looking for CDL Bus Drivers in Hartford, CT who are passionate about safety and customer service. This role offers the opportunity to travel and meet new people while serving the transportation needs of communities across the nation.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Follow designated routes and schedules, making necessary adjustments
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort by providing assistance as needed
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify bus condition
  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to authorities
  • Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing belongings
  • Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents per company protocols
  • Keep records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other required documentation
  • Stay updated on company policies and safety procedures

Required skills

  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Passenger 16+ endorsement
  • No air brake restriction
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • 22 years of age or older
  • Availability for varied schedules based on driver needs
