Key responsibilities

  • Operate a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort, assisting when needed
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify bus condition
  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents promptly
  • Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing belongings
  • Follow emergency procedures and react appropriately to incidents
  • Maintain records of miles driven, fuel usage, and other documentation
  • Stay informed about company policies and safety procedures

Required skills

  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction
  • 22 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • Availability for a varied schedule based on regional needs
