Job Description

Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced CDL Bus Driver to join their team in Baltimore, MD, primarily responsible for safe and comfortable transportation of passengers in the Charm City Circulator. The role emphasizes professionalism, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules
  • Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
  • Uphold company policies, including seat belt enforcement and emergency responses

Required skills

  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible work schedules
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations

  • $27.00 per hour, increasing to $28.00/hour in July, plus overtime when available
