Overview

Buckhead Atlanta is seeking a CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver to operate in their Gulf Coast yard. The driver will be responsible for running daily routes, loading and unloading products, and ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
  • Unload product from trailers and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle customer complaints professionally
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with regulations
  • Assist with loading trucks and palletizing products as needed

Required skills

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B (Class A preferred)
  • One year of route delivery experience or applicable driving background
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to operate vehicle in varying traffic and weather conditions
  • Basic arithmetic skills and handling money experience
  • Knowledge of product and inventory control techniques
