McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver in Columbus, Ohio. This role demands reliability and a dedication to safety while transporting goods for well-known brands across the nation. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while complying with commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Safety compliance
  • Vehicle inspection
