Overview

Green Transportation is seeking experienced CDL-A Solo Drivers in Holland, MI to join their expanding transportation network. This role emphasizes independence, reliable home time, and a strong focus on safety and professionalism while driving modern equipment on scheduled routes.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle
  • Transport LTL and truckload freight on scheduled routes
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Follow FMCSA and DOT regulations at all times
  • Communicate consistently with dispatch regarding load updates and trip status
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery procedures with customers and shipping partners
  • Maintain bills of lading, proof of delivery paperwork, fuel receipts, and trip documentation
  • Monitor road and weather conditions and communicate delays or concerns to operations
  • Represent Green Transportation professionally with customers and team members

Required skills

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
  • Strong safety mindset and knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Ability to communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Must live within 150 miles of Holland, MI
  • Must be able to report to the Holland terminal twice weekly
