Overview

As a CDL-A Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will play a crucial role in transporting and delivering products to customers, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. With over 130 years in the industry, McLane is recognized for its commitment to reliability and safety, offering a supportive work environment for dedicated drivers.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, following commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries and product conditions.
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
