Overview

CEVA Logistics is looking for CDL A Team OTR Tractor Owner Operators in Des Plaines, IL, to operate 53' dry van trailers across all 48 states. This role allows independent contractors to enjoy flexibility while working under CEVA's authority, with strong support and reliable compensation.

Key responsibilities

  • Haul CEVA's 53' dry van trailers across all 48 states
  • Operate under CEVA's authority without forced dispatch
  • Utilize electronic ELDs and dash-cams provided by CEVA
  • Adhere to compliance and safety regulations
  • Participate in the base plate program for vehicle registration
  • Deliver 90% drop and hook freight to CEVA facilities

Required skills

  • Valid CDL A License
  • At least one year of verifiable experience operating a tractor trailer
  • Established driving team
  • Hazmat Endorsement within 90 days of onboarding
  • Tractors must be 15 years old or newer
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Occupational Accident Insurance
