Overview

Alpha Petroleum Transport Inc II is seeking dedicated and qualified CDL-A Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements for the transportation of petroleum products. This role involves not only driving but also physical labor, including loading and unloading, and requires a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive truck to and from loading facilities, customer locations, and disposal sites
  • Pull hoses and connect to the truck and load valves for vacuum tanker operations
  • Maintain accurate work tickets and driving log books
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
  • Alert supervision to any mechanical defects noted on the truck

Required skills

  • Class A License with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
  • 2 years minimum driving experience with Class A License
  • Vacuum tanker and/or pump experience
  • Ability to lift and perform physical duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of DOT and Hazardous Waste Regulations

What the company offers

  • Pay range of $72,000 to $105,000 per year
  • Hourly pay with overtime at time and a half after 40 hours
  • Full benefits package after 60 days including Medical, Dental, and Vision
