Overview

Keystone Freight is looking for a motivated and dependable CDL A regional dry van driver in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on longer-distance driving with a focus on safety and efficiency, featuring no-touch freight and regular home time to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a dry van for longer-distance routes, mostly within a specific region
  • Handle drop and hook operations at some store deliveries
  • Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Manage time effectively and plan routes efficiently
  • Maintain a clean driving record and uphold compliance with DOT regulations

Required skills

  • CDL A Commercial Driver's License
  • Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of traffic laws
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening
  • Experience in defensive driving techniques
  • Competence in heavy lifting (50+ pounds)
  • Manual dexterity for vehicle operation
  • High levels of concentration and situational awareness
