Overview

Quality Carriers is seeking a CDL A regional dedicated tanker driver in Gary, Indiana, who will operate within the Largest Liquid Bulk Chemical Truck Fleet in North America. This role focuses on providing stability and support to drivers, while ensuring efficient transportation of liquid bulk chemicals across various states.

Key responsibilities

  • Transport liquid bulk chemicals while adhering to safety regulations
  • Operate newer sleeper trucks with APU, mostly automatics
  • Complete out-and-back routes primarily in IN, IL, WI, MI, OH, MO, MN, IA, PA, KS, KY
  • Ensure all miles are paid, including loaded and deadhead miles
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Required skills

  • CDL A license
  • 1 year of tractor trailer experience within the last 3 years or 1 year of tanker experience in the last 10 years
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (must obtain if not currently held)
  • Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug tests
  • Experience with logistics management and adherence to safety regulations
