Job Description

Overview

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced CDL-A Refined Fuel Truck Driver to join their team in Knoxville, Tennessee. The driver will be tasked with hauling fuel, including diesel and ethanol, while also participating in emergency relief efforts and maintaining their equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate a Class-A CDL truck with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • Haul various fuel types including diesel, gas, BIO diesel, and ethanol
  • Oversee and maintain equipment in collaboration with Fleet Maintenance Specialists
  • Work OTR for 6-8 weeks at a time
  • Participate in emergency relief efforts during weather disasters
  • Provide flexibility during volatile market supply events

Required skills

  • 2 years of tractor/trailer driving experience
  • 1 year of fuel hauling experience
  • Safety management skills
  • Long-distance driving experience
  • Familiarity with fleet maintenance
