Overview

Sallee Horse Vans is seeking full-time CDL A OTR Team Drivers in Lexington, KY and Ocala, FL to transport race and show horses primarily on routes East of the Mississippi. Drivers will have varying schedules based on the season, with guaranteed pay during the off-season and various incentives.

Key responsibilities

  • Transport race and show horses between tracks and training facilities
  • Ensure safety compliance during transport and handling
  • Set up stalls, load and unload cargo
  • Be available for work at all times to meet customer schedules
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Required skills

  • Valid Class A driver's license
  • Minimum of 1 year Regional/OTR driving experience in the last 3 years
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Horse transportation experience is a plus
