Overview

Quality Carriers is seeking a CDL A OTR Tanker Driver to join their team, offering opportunities within the largest liquid bulk chemical truck fleet in North America. The role includes driving an average of 1,900 miles weekly while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Transport bulk chemicals safely across long distances
  • Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries
  • Adhere to safety compliance and regulations
  • Participate in paid orientation and on-the-job training
  • Manage breakdowns, customer detentions, and layovers
  • Utilize newer sleeper trucks with advanced features

Required skills

  • CDL A license
  • 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years or 1 year of tanker experience in the last 10 years
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (or willingness to obtain)
  • TWIC card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests
