Overview

Universal Environmental Services is seeking CDL A or B Local Tanker Drivers in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading used oil and other liquids, with a focus on safety compliance and customer service in the waste management sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Load, transport, and unload used oil and other liquid waste streams
  • Complete all paperwork according to company policies
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships with employees and customers
  • Familiarize with company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations
  • Operate Class B tanker trucks with a manual transmission
  • Adhere to all applicable rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to transportation

Required skills

  • CDL A or B license
  • Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain
  • Hazmat endorsement preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
