Overview

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is hiring CDL A Delivery Drivers in Spokane, WA to haul and deliver multi-temperature control goods to restaurants in the area. The position offers reliable home time, a unique work schedule, competitive pay, and a range of benefits that reflect QCD's commitment to safety, service, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Haul and deliver frozen, refrigerated, and ambient goods to restaurants
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain accurate delivery records
  • Unload and load products at delivery locations with assistance from store personnel
  • Navigate various delivery conditions and maneuver vehicles in challenging situations
  • Follow all DOT safety and compliance standards, including pre and post-trip inspections
  • Perform product backhaul when returning from delivered routes

Required skills

  • Valid CDL A license and current DOT Medical card
  • Minimum of 1 year driving tractor-trailer experience
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to meet DOT testing and physical requirements
  • Experience in food service and delivery driving
  • Strong time management and route planning skills
  • Ability to lift and handle cases ranging from 5-75 pounds
  • Strong communication skills for positive customer relations
