Overview

ABF Freight is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver / Forklift Operator for a full-time position in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. The role involves the pickup and delivery of cargo, along with the loading and unloading of trailers, while ensuring compliance with various regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Pickup and deliver cargo to and from various destinations
  • Load and unload trailers using appropriate techniques and technology
  • Operate a forklift as needed
  • Perform check-in, tractor/trailer inspections, and setup
  • Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets

Required skills

  • Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
  • 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (less than 1 year may be eligible for training)
  • Stable work record and safe driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements
